Bunjil's nest is about protection, connection and the feeling of being grounded in family, culture and Country. Inspired by Bunjil watching over from above, this piece reflects a safe place.. somewhere you can return to for strength, healing and guidance. For me, this artwork represents the importance of home and belonging. Not just a physical place, but the people, culture and connections that hold us together and remind us where we come from.
